Talisman MCC's 2nd 'P' in the Park Rally 25th-27th July 2003

After missing the Pinthepark last year we'd made up our minds to go even though we had to come home from our Summer hols to make it. Carol and me only made the Saturday night but Mark, Katrina, Chris, James and Lindsay were there for the whole weekend.
The camp ground, being a rugby pitch was excellent. No need for hammers to put the pegs in and no need to find a space without sheepshit. For a young rally the Talsiman put quite a lot into organizing the P in the Park. There were kids games trade stalls and a bouncy castle with loads of stuff for the kids. (kept us happy as Cheri was gone all day bouncing and getting face painted)
There were two bands each night and a further band playing in a nearby hostelry on the Saturday afternoon. We did the usual raid on the supermarket for food and settled in to take in the atmosphere.
Inside the Rugby club hall looked like a marquee with big drapes hanging down from the ceilings. I though it very nice of Stirling Rugby club to do this to make us bikers feel at home. Big massive tables c/w table cloths, plush seats and a carpeted floor made us feel like royalty. Both bands on Saturday night were excellent. (am still half jaked when am writing this so a canny remeber there names).
Anyhoo we'd like to say thanks to the Talisman MCC for organising an excellent wee rally, (and only 10 miles from home). So THANKS TALISMAN MCC and we'll see you all next year.
