Forth Valley Motorcycle Club Established 1966 Crann Tara Cruinneachadh (Fiery Cross Rally) The Fiery Cross Rally began life early in the seventies. Having run the Thistle successfully for a few years it was decided that the club would run a livelier rally with live music. The rally had much success and was at times much bigger than the Thistle but as always this depended on interest and suitable locations. In the early eighties it was decided to change the name (somebody learned a wee bit Gaelic) the Crann Tara Cruinneachadh. Same name in a different language. It has continued over the years as either a rally or a small camping weekend. As usual its format has always depended on the interest of club members to do the organizing but it has always gone off as one or the other.

Crann Tara at the Wallace Tavern
In 2004, after 10 years as a camping weekend we managed to get it organized as a rally. As a wee tester we kept numbers to around a hundred. It was extremely successful even though we only sent out 50 invites from a database that has over 500 names in it.
The Crann Tara is held on the last full weekend in September every year.
