In May this year we were fortunate enough to meet some members of the Honda Blackbird Club of Denmark who rode up here after visiting the Blackbird Rally in England. On their first night in Scotland they stayed here with us (yes all 10 of them). I hope they enjoyed the stovies Carol had cooked for dinner. The following day they rode over to their campsite near Stirling as the sun shone brightly. The following day they headed North to Inverness and back down through Fort William, Glencoe, Tyndrum, and South via Loch Lomond and back to camp. A distance of nearly 600 kilometres. I think this was mainly Bebe's idea so he could clock up extra kilometres to win the furthest travelled award in his club. In the evening they visited our club. Sadly the weather changed overnight (typical in Scotland) and some of the tents were soaked through. This cut short their visit to Gods country and after some fond farewells they headed South to visit the Beatles museum in Liverpool.
We would like to say Thanks to Mads, Henrik, Flemming, Bent, Bernt, Ulla, Jean, Sanne. Lene and Bjarne for visiting us and also for the gifts on your departure. Little Cheri does enjoy Habo and her father the Black Vodka. :-)
If we dont meet you again this year we will definitely meet in 2009 when we visit a rally in Denmark
