It was the Clyde Valleys turn to host a Halloween party this year so we hired a couple of buses and made the trip through to Airdrie to join them in some fancy dress fun. The standard of costumes was excellent again and only a small handfull of poopers didnt bother. Trogg was there with his box of tricks to provide a musical ambience and get the folks up on the dance floor. The middle bit was filled with a wee raffle and some prizes for the best dressed. Cliff from our club got third prize for his Andy Pandy outfit. Elvis was there and won second prize as was Pinnochio who came first. Somebody from the Forth Valley got a booby prize for not dressing up. He turned up as usual, a biker, but after trying to explain his fancy dress as after having a shower and a shave he was now a motorcyclist. Completely out of character. The CVMCC weren't having it and awarded the booby prize. The plus side is he wont need a shower now until next Summer. The party raged until the bar licence ran out and we all had to go home.
